As our VP of Engineering, you will have a strong software background preferably with Internet experience, with a track record of strong coding and individual technical accomplishments. You will be a strong leader who is capable of motivating and energizing the very best software engineers as well as gaining their respect.
As our Senior Product Test Engineer, you navigate Rocketrip’s codebase, identify weak spots and constantly design better and creative ways to break software and identify potential problems. You’ll have a huge impact on the quality of Rocketrip’s growing suite of products and services. Unlike roles with similar names at the other companies, Test Engineers at Rocketrip not only apply their product and business knowledge on defining, procuring and executing test cases — you use your knowledge of testing and testability to influence better software design, promote proper engineering practice, bug prevention strategies, testability, accessibility, privacy, and other advanced quality concepts across products.
Finally, if you love and thrive on keeping up to date with and gaining a deep understanding of the latest web technologies, you will love working with us as a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer. Rocketrip is as much about web design as it is about employing diverse areas of Computer Science, including machine learning, information retrieval, distributed computing and natural language processing to transform the professional travel industry.
