Business travel will look different next year
Here’s how Rocketrip is delivering tools for safety, sustainability, and savings.
Rocketrip’s core software has always offered companies and employees incentives to save on business travel and optimize booking behaviors. But now, as business travelers begin heading for the horizon once again, Rocketrip is rolling out new features with their 3S program, to bolster safety and sustainability, and even introducing a new face to its management team. Online travel veteran Kim Andreello, President of Avia Travel Services, has joined Rocketrip as its general manager, and he’s excited about the return to business travel in 2022, bringing the Rocketrip experience to more people, and delivering travel cost savings and happier, more engaged employees.
Safe travel
Business travel will look a bit different in the post-Covid era. Global travel restrictions are evolving rapidly, so having the most current and accurate information is key to an effortless, no-hassle trip. That’s why Rocketrip is partnering with Sherpa to offer real-time Covid-related safety information. Appearing at the top of the online booking tool search results, the safety information keeps you current on restrictions, documentation requirements, mask usage, quarantine policies, and everything you need to know for all of your upcoming trips, giving you and your employees the knowledge you need to move freely and confidently.
Sustainable travel
Rocketrip is now going further in its efforts to help you and your employees make a difference in the fight against climate change. Working with Thrust Carbon, Rocketrip has added updated carbon emission data to its suite of travel manager tools. As a manager, you can now use the savings from your Rocketrip program to offset your travel program’s carbon emissions. After you check the up-to-date emissions data for a trip, you can then choose from a variety of certified products that allow you to offset emissions for a given period — helping you ensure that the world, as it opens up, will be a greener one.
Savings on travel
Rocketrip continues to come up with new ways to provide you with tools to make decisions that cut company travel costs. On average, Rocketrip customers reduce corporate travel spend by 20 percent with no change to current company workflows, travel policies, booking tools, or their travel management company. Those average savings are set to grow further next year, as higher-cost international travel comes back. According to Andreello, with corporate travel still impacted by Covid-19, many companies are implementing Rocketrip now to lock up those savings.
As your employees hit the road again, wherever they go, Rocketrip has the tools to make sure they get there safely, sustainably and more affordably.
