  • An exclusive sign-up bonus for Rocketrip travelers who join Elevate, Virgin America’s frequent flyer program.
  • All Rocketrip users can also earn bonus Elevate points on their flights with Virgin America.

Rocketrip has also added two new offers from Virgin America to our rewards page.

  • It’s now possible to convert Rocketrip points into Virgin Elevate points at a preferred rate.

  • Our users can also redeem Rocketrip points for Silver or Gold status through Elevate. With elite status, these travelers won’t just enjoy preferred boarding, free checked bags, complimentary lounge access, and cabin upgrades: they’ll also earn Elevate points at an accelerated rate, allowing them to get even more rewards from their travels. (Limited availability.)

A New Approach to Travel Rewards

There’s no doubt frequent flyer miles influence what airlines business travelers choose. However, not all rewards programs are equal, and Rocketrippers have a strong incentive to consider cost along with brand loyalty: that’s what happens when you get to keep of half of whatever you save on your business trips. By partnering with Virgin America, Rocketrip wants to give our users a way to earn free flights on a preferred airline at the same time they get rewarded for spending less.

Rocketrip CEO Dan Ruch put it this way:

“Virgin America is a natural partner for Rocketrip. They’re one of the most popular airlines for business travelers using our platform, and they’ve demonstrated a truly forward-thinking approach with their Elevate program. Travelers have more choices than ever when planning their trips, and so this partnership is about reimagining customer loyalty as matter of delivering the best overall value and experience.”
